Console games lazily ported to PC resulted in substandard graphics, performance, poor M&K (Mouse and Keyboard) support, and other issues that still persist in PC gaming today. That said, this is a substandard bastardized PC port. If this game was tagged properly from the get-go as 'Mobile Port' and 'AutoPlay' and other stuff that describes what you are getting into BEFORE even looking through Steam Reviews then people would be unable to claim ignorance or 'they didn't know' stuff like they are now. They feel it 'creates conflict' when it would be the opposite. Steam doesn't allow for actual (useful) tags like 'Mobile Port' or 'Console Port' or '30FPS' or '60FPS' and so on. So I find it funny when people just bash the ports but easily eat up the of other titles while it too isn't the best quality but still defend it tooth and nail. I feel most games nowadays are just the same stuff without much new. But first impressions count for a lot and the PC gamer market is completely understandable for not giving this game a chanceįInd that funny because the moment an EA title comes out they eat it like its something never seen before. I have played all three games without spending a thin dime and felt they were fun, and bought some of their merchandise (mostly the comics) without feeling ripped off. I wouldn't be playing it on Steam if I had a choice, I can tell you thatįor what it's worth, I don't think it's a bad game or that Summoners War as a whole is too evil. If you're not a fan of this franchise already, it will do nothing to evangelize you and probably just looks like lazy money-hungry gacha trash riding on the coattails of our lord and savior Red: Shadow Legumes or Harry Potter: Hogwarts Miseries. never heard a dam lick about this game and keep in mind all i DO is watch and play video game sgtuff when im not at work but when my favorite streamers that hate phone games started playing it i knew something was up, so i checked it out and i love it. if it was a good game we woulve heard it was by now is the thing. That's a 10/10 score right there just for that. They have a much more pleasant formula than most other gacha games.Įdit - forgot the games best point for myself, it's also the only steam game ever that my wife also enjoys and we can play together. It's got a similar feel to sky arena, obviously - but the overall design regards to how they 'skinner box' you. This chronicle game though, I'm really liking it. Like being locked in an escape room, and the only way out is to dual-wield credit cards. That diablo immortal you mention, what a huge letdown, couldn't even grind it out, in a grinding game!? everything was gated, time locked, or paywalled.
Good games are good games, doesn't matter what device it's on.
